ALCOHOL IN HAMPERS

Gift Hampers that include alcohol may only be purchased and delivered to persons over the age of 18 years. 

STOCK AVAILABILITY

Our merchandise is ordered in advance and we make every effort to have stock available of all items, however in certain circumstances an item may not be available. If we are unable to supply an item, we will replace the product with a close alternative of equal or greater value.

Unless an item is listed it is not included in the hamper. All gift boxes (sea grass baskets, timber boxes and card hamper trays) include a greeting card, ribbon, and are wrapped in cellophane.

DELIVERY TIMES AND POSSIBLE DELAYS

Tasmanian Gourmet Gifts makes every effort to deliver an order on the date requested. We use highly reputable courier companies for our deliveries. However, this is not always possible due to unforeseen circumstances or events beyond our control. These events may include, but are not limited to, airline strikes, storms and floods and peak delivery seasons, which may delay parcel collection and delivery. You agree that late delivery does not entitle you to cancel an order, or request a refund in such events.

REFUNDS

Refund requests due to delivery delays are issued at the discretion of Tasmanian Gourmet Gifts. We will assess delayed delivery on a case by case basis and a refund for delivery costs of the order may be issued.

Our hampers are packaged with the utmost care to ensure they arrive to you as beautifully as they leave us. In the unlikely event that your gift arrives damaged we will gladly replace all damaged items or provide a refund for the value of the affected goods. Refund requests for broken or damaged items must be made within seven (7) days of delivery.

AUTHORITY TO LEAVE

If the recipient of your gift hamper is not at home when the courier attempts delivery, you can provide an ‘Authority to Leave’ the parcel at the delivery address. You can provide details such as ‘leave on front door step under chair’ or ‘leave at backdoor under carport’ for us to provide the courier. By authorising for the parcel to be left, you acknowledge that Tasmanian Gourmet Gifts can take no responsibility for lost or stolen gifts.

If no one is at home, and an ‘Authority to Leave’ is not provided, the courier will leave a collection card for the recipient to call and arrange a suitable delivery time, or collection from the depot. Where a redelivery is required, the courier may charge a redelivery fee of up to $35, which we will be required to pass onto you. This fee will be charged to your credit card up to 14 days after delivery has occurred.

If you prefer, you can nominate for the hamper to be delivered to a business address or a PO BOX for your recipient.
