Why can't I send Tasmanian Honey to Western Australia?

Can I create my own hamper?

Yes! We have given you the option of designing a gift hamper that suits your recipient. You can choose the products you know they will like. Simply go to our Create Your Own section and start selecting the items. It's that easy.

Once you have selected all of your items, you select Purchase Now to begin the check out process. The Create Your Own hampers include the ribbon colour of your choice and a personalised gift card message.

What payment options are available?

We accept VISA, MasterCard and American Express credit cards.

Payments are made online via a secure online payment gateway, provided by the National Australia Bank (NAB). Your credit card details will be sent to, and processed via the payment gateway, and will not be disclosed to Tasmanian Gourmet Gifts.

If you would prefer to speak to someone about your order you can call us to complete your order.

Do the hampers include a greeting card?

Absolutely! All of our hampers include a greeting card with your personal message. During the check out process you will be able to personalise your order. This includes providing us with a message for the greeting card to go with your hamper.

How will my order be sent?

We deliver Australia wide using Australian Air Express. This service is fast and reliable. In most cases, delivery is an overnight service, however, in some regional areas, delivery may take 2-3 days. Please check with us if you are unsure about the delivery time to your area.

Our gift boxes are packed into cardboard shipping cartons and packed with bubble wrap to reduce the risk of damage in transit.

What if the recipient is not home when a gift is delivered?

All gift boxes delivered within Australia require the article to be signed for at the time of delivery. We understand that this is not always possible and you can give us instructions to leave the parcel at the nominated delivery address. You can provide additional details using the delivery instructions box during the order process.

You may also prefer to have the gift hamper sent to the recipients business address, and we can even deliver to PO Boxes!

Do you deliver to PO Boxes?

Yes! We use Australian Air Express for our deliveries Australia wide, and they are more than happy to delivery to a PO Box anywhere in Australia. Your recipient will receive a 'parcel to collect' notification in thier PO Box, so they know to stop in and collect thier gift!

What if my order is damaged?

In the unlikely event that you receive a defective or damaged product, we will refund the original product price, and delivery charge via the original method of payment. Alternatively, if you request a replacement, we will dispatch your replacement item once we receive the return, at our cost. We require to be notified within 7 days of delivery that a product/s are damaged.

Do you deliver overseas?

Yes! This is a special service, but we may be able to assist you. We use Australia Post or Australian Air Express for International deliveries, which can take between 3-7 business days. Please contact us to discuss your order including customs requirements and to obtain a quote for delivery.

I need my hamper to arrive today! Can you help?

We may be able to assist with same day delivery within the Hobart Metro area. Please call us to discuss where the hamper needs to be sent and we can let you know if its possible and how much the delivery fee woudl be.

Why can't I send Tasmanian Honey to Western Australia?

Western Australia's Department of Agriculture and Foods in conjunction with Quarantine WA are serious about protecting their honey!

Currently, the Western Australian honey industry is free from a known European Foulbroad Disease, which has been found in other states of Australia. The Disease can kill bees, and WA are keen to keep their bees safe!

It is possible to bring honey into Western Australia if the honey has been heat-treated and the individual obtains a certificate from a relevant Quarantine Authority. But, the easiest way is not to bring it in at all.

Our Tasmanian honey selection available in our hampers are safe and free from the spores that carry the European Foulbroad Disease, but as the majority of Tasmanian honey products are not heat-treated, we are unable to send them to Western Australia.

If you are sending a gift to Western Australia and you are selecting products to send, please ensure you refrain from the temptation of our delicious Tasmanian honey! If you select from one of our Ready Made Hampers containing honey, we will replace the item with a jam, dessert sauce or relish of equal or greater value.

Western Australia appreciates us helping to keep their bees buzzing and disease free!
